Bernie Breen started his career in music 25 years ago. He spent his first 10 years in fundamental roles in a number of aspects of the industry – arena and theatre tour production manager, club owner, concert promoter, and booking agent.

It is in the last 15 years that Bernie has honed his talents and built a solid reputation as a business savvy, artist-friendly, and knowledgeable artist manager.

Bernie’s experience in developing talent and maintaining careers is vast and unique. He has handled the careers of many talented artists. Among them are multi-platinum selling artists Tom Cochrane, Big Wreck, Crash Vegas, as well as Not By Choice.

Today, Bernie is successfully supporting and developing some of the most talented individuals in the country. Working with a range of both established and budding artists, his current roster includes: The Tragically Hip, Matthew Good, actor/musician Hugh Dillon, newly reunited Headstones, producer Colin Cripps, and Gentlemen Husbands.

Bernie has been a member of CARAS since 1995, a publisher member with SOCAN and CMRRA since 1997, and a member of the Music Manager’s Forum since 2001 where he spent four years on the Board of Directors.

Sarah Osgoode Director of Operations and Business Development, has worked with Bernie Breen for 18 years. She started her career in 1992 at The Management Trust, getting her feet wet in the industry by working with The Tragically Hip, The Watchmen, David Gogo, Andrew Cash, Ursula and Crash Vegas. In 1996 she joined Bernie in the development division of The Management Trust Ltd. with recording artist Big Wreck and later Ian Thornley’s solo work. She helped to launch Bernie Breen Management 5 years later. In her capacity as Director of Operations and Business Development, Sarah is responsible for the general management of the company, the creation and management of over 25 artist related companies, and all marketing and merchandise development for the roster.

Jenn Pressey Senior Co-ordinator, Artist Relations joined Bernie Breen Management in 2006. She oversees the day-to-day management of The Tragically Hip, Gord Downie, Strippers Union, Paul Langlois and Matthew Good. Her attention and understanding of the music management business has made her a vital asset in the professional development of each artist, coordinating details of all aspects of their careers.

Courtney Yuchtman Co-ordinator, Artist Relations has been with the company since March 2009. She is responsible for the day-to-day management of Hugh Dillon, Headstones, Colin Cripps and Gentlemen Husbands.

Aven Hoffarth Social Media and Digital Marketing Co-ordinator has been with Bernie Breen Management since 2013. She manages all social media and digital platforms for The Tragically Hip.
