Cheryl Link began her career at FACTOR (Foundation to Assist Canadian Talent On Records) where she spent three years as a Program Officer followed by two years at independent distributor and label, Page Music where she held the title of Accounting and Label Relations. In 1999, Cheryl moved to BMG Music Publishing Canada as their Creative Consultant and talent scout, helping to develop their domestic songwriting roster. In 2004, Cheryl assumed the position of Manager, Copyright and Creative at independent music publisher, Casablanca Media Publishing.

Presently, Cheryl is the Director of Synchronization Licensing and Creative Manager at Peermusic Canada Inc. and is responsible for all domestic songwriters and artists, as well as for promoting the Peermusic worldwide catalogue to Film, TV, and advertising agencies. The Peermusic catalogue includes, to name but a few, Sebastien Grainger, Hawksley Workman, Kathleen Edwards, The Tragically Hip, Anvil, Dean McTaggart, Ron Hynes, and The Stampeders, along with many up and coming writers like Greg Johnston and Tino Zolfo. Some of Cheryl’s many accomplishments include advertising placements for Virgin Mobile, Telus, Toyota , Labatt’s, KitKat and McDonalds, feature films and televisions shows (Lost Girl, 18 To Life, Unnatural History, Being Erica, The Trotsky, The Whistleblower, Fugitive Pieces), and videogames such as the Just Dance series and Your Shape, amongst others, as well as radio hits from Social Code, Eva Avila, Brian Melo, Kalan Porter, and Theo Tams.
