Dalton Higgins is a publicist, author, journalist and live music presenter whose six (6) books and 500+ concert presentations since 2002 have taken him across the United States, to Denmark, France, Curacao, Spain, Australia, Germany, Colombia, England and Cuba among other destinations. An Award-winning journalist who's written for Billboard and was a former longtime contributor to The Source (where he conducted the late Jay Dilla's first national magazine interview), Vibe Magazine and Now Magazine, Dalton transitioned his insider media savvy into public relations, creating buzzworthy PR assets and working on many successful media campaigns for a wide range of Canadian musicians; from Grammy Award nominee A-Trak and Juno Award winners Kardinal Offishall, K’naan, k-os, and Classified, to international acts including 2015 Mercury Prize winner Benjamin Clementine and 2015 BET Award winner Stonebwoy. Higgins is currently managing the PR for a number of Canadian music stars of today and tomorrow including Jazz Cartier, Allan Rayman, OVO affiliate Gilla, and Clairmont The Second among others. Higgins' biography of rapper Drake, Far From Over, is carried in Cleveland’s Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame & Museum collection, and his best selling non-fiction book Hip Hop World is carried in Harvard University’s hip hop archive.
