Bass Culture
Bari, Puglia, Italy
Bass Culture is a company that works in the music business, as organizers/producer of live music events and as a booking agency for Italian and foreign artists.

Since 2007 Bass Culture is part of Assomusica, which brings together the most qualified producers of live shows in Italy.

The company was born in Bari in 2001, on the initiative of young professionals with a solid experience in

cultural associations and events organization.

The term "Bass Culture" refers to a goal: music from very wide boundaries.
Born from the reggae sound systems scene, the concept of "cultura dal basso"(eng. Culture from the bottom) expresses the idea of music that breaks down barriers: from traditional roots, electronics, DJ sets through underground and quality pop.

Bass Culture promotes numerous events of innovative "clubbing" with prestigious international and local guests, organizing great live concerts, producing festivals and events with attendance of several thousands of people (Locus Festival, L'Acqua In Testa, Gusto Dopa Al Sole...)

The booking business has grown together with the production: artists are carefully selected in the international music scene: alongside prestigious names are proposed (less known but still) young quality projects too.

Bass Culture has brought great names in Italy in the reggae scene such as Junior Delgado and Adrian Sherwood, discovered new phenomena like Seeed and New Zealand's Fat Freddy's Drop.

Current roster include important names like Dj Premier, Jacob Collier, Daddy G, George Clinton, African Head Charge, Skatalites, etc. Bass Culture is also the international agency of Asian Dub Foundation, historical English crossover band, booking their international tours since 2014.

The International Ambition of the company is increasing, aimed at the foreign market (artistic and commercial), continuing a project started years ago with the goal of recognition, remaining constantly updated on a costant changing market.
