After graduating from the University of Virginia, Phil McCarty started his professional career as a musician, writing songs and playing bass for an East Coast band. He then moved behind the scenes, working with a number of Top 40 producers as a tech consultant, where he noticed the some of the difficulties and risks inherent to the electronic transfer of music. He created TrackTrack.it to address those problems.
