Carlos Alberto Martins
Manager of the Culture Industries Department at PromoMadrid, Madrid’s International Trade Promotion Agency. Portuguese born in Uruguay in 1946, he lives in Spain since 1989, after eight years in Belgium.
He first studied Sociology, then completed in Belgium a Degree and a PhD in Social Communication. He worked for two years at the MEDIA Programme of the European Union, and before that he was for twenty years a music journalist, critic and producer.
